J.N. Loughborough and the 3 Cent Silver
C Mervyn Maxwell
Audio CD $8.98 Petra Publishing Co.
You are there, reliving the past as only Dr. C. Mervyn Maxwell could tell it. He performs a one-man-drama, re-enacting the story of John and Mary Loughborough as John decided to give up his job to become an unpaid pastor. Listen, too, as he retells the adventures of James and Ellen White as they travel through the dead of winter with a horse and sled over the thawing Mississippi River. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, but you’ll learn the meaning of being Laodicean. Far more importantly, you’ll relive the spiritual growth of the Adventist pioneers. You’ll see that nothing is too hard for God to do for you in your life if you’ll only let Him.
